Thanksgiving, last day of the trimester, ukulele club, Feed My Starving Children, extreme chocolate cake, christmas decoration :)

Hello:)

I´m doing good here in America, even so if it is really cold... :P

I did Feed My Starving Children with the International Club. You are in little groups and make bags with food (rice, soy, vitamins, and something else) and seal them. Then you pack all of the bags in a big box and start over again:) Those boxes then go to children in poor countries! It was amazing how many kids you can feed in just an hour... I think we made food for 20,736 kids :D

We could make a cooking video for extra credit in our foods class. So I went to Grace´s house and we made an "Extreme Chocolate Cake" - OMG this was soo sweet and way too much chocolate :D But fun to make :D We played Just Dance on the WII and I found "99 Luftballons" von Nena in German :D Julia - this made me think of you when we danced in our pyjamas when we were younger haha :D Love you :*

Last Tuesday was the last day of this trimester- I can´t believe that 1/3 is already over..... !! :O This trimester gave me a good idea how high school is like and I really like it :D It was fun and nice to experience these classes :) I am looking forward to my new classes starting on Tuesday :
  1. Quilting
  2. English
  3. Culinary Foods 2
  4. Winter Biology
  5. US History B
I don´t know if I already told you about it, but I joined the ukulele club in school and I got my ukulele on Tuesday :D

Our Thanksgiving break started on Wednesday and we also have no school tomorrow (Monday) :D

Thanksgiving...! First of all I want to say thank you to my lovely American family :) I really appreciate what you are doing for me. I´m so thankful that you give me the opportunity to experience the American life with you. I´m so happy that we are one family and I enjoy staying with you! <3 Thank you for everything!! <3
I love having you as my family <3

We had Thanksgiving at our house and Kelly and her friend Dolly from China, grandma and grandpa (mom´s parents), uncle John and uncle Bill and his new girlfriend, and Janet and Jack (friends) and their three kids came over :) We had a lot of food and it was really good :D Mom and I made Peanutbutter-turkeys on Wednesday night and a fruit-turkey on Thursday morning. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, green bean casserole, cranberries, gravy, buns, deviled eggs, and fruit. We also had a meat, cheese, and cracker tray before. We also had a lot of dessert :D It was a wonderful time to spend with the family :) <3

Yesterday we put out christmas decoration and decorated the christmas tree :D I also got a sock with my name on it*-* We also watched two movies: Heaven is for real (this was a really, really good movie) and merry friggin christmas (well,... mom: "Don´t spend your time watching it" :D )
Love being part of your family *-*

Hi :)

Today is November 14th, so I am here for exactly 3 months...... where is the time?!?! I really enjoy staying here with my amazing family and friends <3<3<3

I went to a movie tonight with some friends. We watched "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" . It was really fun, so if this movie is played in Germany you really need to watch it!!
